RM2-42M: Great vintage knitting pattern for a cardigan for men from 1930s. This pattern is to fit 36 inch chest knitted in a fine 4ply. Work in double knitting on larger needles for bigger size - don't forget to allow extra wool if you do this. Nice easy pattern with set in sleeves and V neck.

To fit 36 inches if following pattern in a 4ply yarn. Use a size larger needles to get a larger size. The pattern is a twisted wide rib, not too clear in the picture. Always work a tension square.
