Bestway 1363: Vintage SEWING pattern from Bestway. Love-A-Duck, here is a little cutie - but he is NOT KNITTED but sewn. All pattern pieces are present 1940's pattern.

Homecraft 337: Great little chap, vintage SEWING pattern for SAILOR SAM made from an old pair of sock (machine made)and some pink underwear material and rug wool (for hair) His stuffing is made from unravelled knitwear or shredded waste materials. All sizes and instructions included - another example of using waste materials during the and just after the war.

Weldons 406s: Great vintage SEWING pattern for pixie doll made from leather off cuts, she measures 15" high. Could be made from felt or any other material. Diagram for face and actual pattern sizes outlines to trace off. Wartime pattern stating that you should use material only not suitable for salvage - old stocking could be used for face - this applies today. Early 1940's

Weldons 481: Another great SEWING pattern form the war years, early 1940's. This time urging the crafter to use old knitted garments. Don’t forget if you use this medium today the garment have to be made from pure wool, and not shrink resistant wool (machine washable). Alternatively they can be made from felt. There are instructions for a giraffe, bunny and duck with her ducklings.
